Walk for Recovery

Come find us at this year’s Walk for Recovery and support recovery in MN.
9 am: Public check-in and on-site registration begins
10 am – 3 pm: Exhibitors, fun activities, food trucks, and more!
NUWAY Main Stage
10:30 am: Nyasia, R&B/Pop Originals
11:30 am: Rising Path, Pop/Soul Originals
12:30 pm: Artificial Flowers, Folk Rock, Americana
2 pm: Closing Set with DJ Kid 612
CAPITOL STEPS
12:00 pm: Recovery Honor Guard photo on Capitol steps Individuals with 10 or more years in personal or family recovery are invited to participate in a special group photo. Please get your Recovery Honor Guard “badge” from the booth near registration and check in.
1:15 – 1:30 pm: Please assemble on the Capitol steps.
1:15 pm: Salute to Veterans — presented by Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation with featured speakers
1:30 pm: Minnesota Honor Guard from the Minnesota National Guard
1:35 pm: Group Photo on the Capitol steps
1:40 pm: Opening Remarks with Presenting Sponsor NUWAY Recognition of Sponsors and top Individual & team fundraisers
1:45 pm: Walk for Recovery begins Gather your team together or join in with the crowd. The Walk will circle the Capitol grounds (approximately 1.2 miles).
2 pm – 3 pm: Photo Finish! Get your individual or group photo taken with the “Recovery Works” banner when you finish the walk. Photos will be available on Flickr: flickr.com/photos/mnrecoveryconnection/albums

- Street Dog Coalition: will provide free on-site preventative exams for your dog or cat
