STAY CONNECTED
The importance of establishing connections that support our life-long recovery cannot be stressed enough! The number 1 reason our alumni return to our residential treatment programs is that they lost connection with others who were positive for their recovery. As isolation surrounded them, they relapsed and came back for a restart. Our doors are always open for a restart – but maintaining your sobriety is the way to go!
Establishing connections with supportive churches, groups, etc… may not happen on your first try or visit. Keep at it, explore more and more options, and keep going until you find the right community or communities you feel good in and believe you can grow. Click on the different types of groups below to explore listings broken down by region. Alumni and staff of MnTC have recommended all these listings. If you would like to recommend a listing, please email it to alumni@mntc.org.
Finally, as stated above, this can be a difficult task to get connected. We offer FREE PEER SUPPORT to any of our alumni to provide you accountability in reaching your goals of establishing and maintaining connections. Click on the Get Help Now button or Resources tab to read more about it.
