Morning Breakout Speaker

Gina Evans

Gina Evans is the Director of Advocacy at Mn Adult & Teen Challenge. She has over 25 years of experience with criminal legal system both inside and outside of institutions.  Starting in 2006, she spent her professional career lobbying for earmark funding, developing relationships in the public schools and implementing Know the Truth (KTT), Minnesota’s largest and most utilized drug and alcohol prevention program. Last year KTT impacted over 55,000 young people in the MN and WI schools.

Since 2009, she has been developing and presenting trainings to the legal, behavioral health, and social service communities to help professionals better serve those suffering with Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness.  As an impacted person Gina believes her purpose in life is helping others who struggle with life controlling issues find freedom. Freedom starts with fair and dignified systems that hold all parties mutually accountable and reduce harm for all members of the community.

Anh’s passion is people and their stories, most importantly, the healing that comes from knowing there is hope at the end of the story. Anh is a licensed associate marriage and family therapist with a M.S in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Post-Baccalaureate in Contemporaries Family Studies.

She believes that the complexities of each person’s story can be seen through the lenses of real and sustainable hope. Anh serves adults, adolescents, couples, families, and children dealing with mental health concerns such as depression; anxiety; social anxiety; relational difficulties; racial identity and reconciliation; trauma; addictions and recovery.

Morning Keynote Speaker

Pastor Willie Ramos

Willie Ramos is Mn Adult & Teen Challenge’s new VP of Long Term Programs. He comes to us from New York on his 25th year with Adult & Teen Challenge! Willie has his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College, now Evangel University, which equipped Willie for his long tenured ministry with ATC.

“Over the years I have gained valuable lessons professionally, academically, and spiritually that I desire to pour out in my new assignment at MnTC. Phillipians 1:6 states ‘being confident of this very thing, that HE who has begun a good work in you is faithful to complete it’. I have lived by this motto, ‘It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish’. This phrase has kept me pursuing my God-given potential. After serving New York Adult and Teen Challenge, moving up the ladder from entry staff all the way to President/CEO and seeing thousands change their lives through ATC ministry, now is time to share my experience and expertise in the addiction field somewhere else. My wife and I have been called out of New York to now serve MnTC.

Morning Breakout Speaker

Twila Jensen

Twila is Mn Adult 7 Teen Challenge’s Senior Vice President of Finance. She has over thirty years of experience in progressive levels of financial management as well as leading others.

“I am passionate about empowering others and making a difference in the community around us. I enjoy using my strengths in making room for others, seeing their gifts / talents and encouraging them to use them to reach their full potential. And I love to teach Accounting.”

Afternoon Breakout Speaker

Pastor Sheldon Beilke

Husband, father and Campus Pastor at Bethels Rock Church Richfield. He grew up in the church but never had a real relationship with the Lord. After embracing a lifestyle in the streets, his next vice was to enlist in the armed forces to die in combat. God ultimately saved him when he was at his lowest point and called him into ministry. He has a passion for discipleship and helping others reach their greatest.
