VP of Spiritual Growth and Leadership Development
Per Nilsen serves as the VP of Spiritual Growth and Leadership Development at MnTC, though he has been connected to MnTC through volunteering and referrals since 1997. His freedom journey began when he met Jesus in the basement of a drug treatment center at the age of 17. He has been free from addiction for 46 years. Prior to joining the MnTC staff in 2024, Per pastored numerous churches in the Twin Cities area for 34 years. Per has been married to his high school sweetheart, Mary, for 39 years. Together they have two children, both married, and two grandchildren.
